International Activity

-Provided broadcast training in Puerto Cabezas, Nicragua to help establish a community radio station there.
-In Peshawar, Pakistan, developed the foundations for a department of communications at the University of Peshawar.
-In Trinidad and Tobago, spent a year at the University of the West Indies (UWI), where I taught classes and also provided print, video and broadcast training to extension people in seven Caribbean countries: Grenada, St Vincent, Saint Lucia, Dominica, Montserrat, Antigua and St Kitts/Nevis. Later, held communications workshop for faculty members of UWI. Also oversaw the communications unit within UWI. Wrote and produced several publications for UWI.
-Played a key role in the establishment of the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences’ first student exchange program with UWI.
-Taught a UW class for students who participated in the UWI exchange program.
